The workshop will start with an introduction to bird photography including birds in flight - factors to consider relating to fieldcraft, image design and technique.

We’ll then go and put this into practice by heading down to the Rotorua lakefront which has a variety of species to model for us.

Lenses can vary depending on the type of image being sought, so bring whatever you have, but generally anything over 300mm is useful - 100-400mm is a great starting point.
