My name is Karolina Stus.

I'm from Poland originally but I have embraced New Zealand as my home for more than a decade now, making me a true Kiwi at heart.

Proudly holding the titles of NZIPP Master of Photography with distinction III, 2025, 2024 Creative Photographer of the Year, 2023 Commercial and 2020 Expressive Photographer of the Year.

I specialise in portrait and commercial work, I also enjoy creative exploration.

I love pushing boundaries, breaking rules, and playing with light and focus – these elements are at the core of my photographic passion.

Beyond my lens, I find joy in exploring other artistic mediums such as woodwork, encaustic wax, ceramics, alternative processing techniques, and anything that allows me to express my creativity through hands-on work.

My work is a reflection of my deep connection to both nature and human emotions.
