I’m a seasoned photographer based in Nelson with over 20 years of professional experience.

Originally from the UK, I began my photographic journey with a Box Brownie camera, progressing to SLRs, darkroom processing, and 16mm filming during my teens. Holding a Licentiate from the Royal Photographic Society, I transitioned in 2004 from a 25-year career in IT to a fresh start in professional photography. I worked as a full-time wedding photographer for eight years before expanding into commercial photography upon relocating to New Zealand in 2012.

I am currently winding down my commercial work to focus on my personal landscape and creative photography. As an active member of PSNZ, I serve as the competitions secretary at Nelson Camera Club and I am training to become a PSNZ accredited judge.

I would describe myself as a ‘Photographer of Life - Natural Life, Street Life, Community Life, Family Life, Business Life’.
