Bryce McQuillan is a NZ based macro and wildlife photographer with a strong conservation passion.

Helping to communicate about NZ amazing invertebrate fauna, Bryce’s images have been used widely across a wide range of media.  His work has been published in a wide range of magazines, books, and research papers, both locally and around the world.  His images have been published in New Zealand Geographic and Forest and Bird; featured by Canon New Zealand and Te Papa Press.  Imagery has appeared on New Zealand postage stamps.

As photographer for ‘A Photographic Guide to Spiders of New Zealand’ Bryce was recognised as New Zealand’s Amateur Entomologist of the Year (2017), and co-author on taxonomic spider papers.

Bryce is currently working on a beetle book with Auckland University Press.
