Andrew is an award-winning Rotorua-based photojournalist with over two decades of experience capturing the stories that shape his community.

Born and raised in Rotorua, Andrew brings a deep understanding of the region’s people, culture, and landscape to every frame he shoots.

He has worked extensively with Rotorua Daily Post and NZME, where his images became a defining part of the visual record of the city.  From breaking news and court reporting to environmental stories, community events and civic milestones, Andrew’s work consistently combined journalistic integrity with a strong eye for human emotions and visual impact.

Andrew’s storytelling extends beyond daily news.  His photographic projects have explored New Zealand’s rural heart through series like ‘Down the Hall’ celebrating the cultural role country halls, and ‘God’s Road’, a striking visual essay of life inside Tyburn Monastery.

His work has been featured in exhibitions and publications nationwide.
