For Jackie Kramer, photography has always been about artistic expression. Given her first camera by her father while at high school, she soon discovered that the camera enabled her unique interpretation of the natural world. Today her photography embraces flowers, nature, wildlife and the landscapes around her, always with an eye for revealing the character and personality of her subjects.

Jackie encourages photographers to move beyond simply recording what is in front of them. Through selective focus, multiple exposures, abstracts, textures and other creative approaches, she explores how technique can be used not just for effect, but to express an idea, a feeling or a different way of seeing.

Just as important to Jackie is the community that can grow around photography. Through Phlorography, the international photographic community she established, she has brought together photographers from around the world to learn, share, encourage and inspire one another.

Whether your passion is flowers, wildlife, nature or simply finding more creative ways to make photographs, Jackie will have something to offer. Come prepared to experiment, connect and be inspired.
