This workshop introduces the fundamentals of light, covering hard and soft light, the use of diffusers and reflectors, and how different materials affect lighting.

Demonstrations with LED and flash.

We will be using macro size subjects however the principles apply across all genres of photography.

Participants are welcome to bring their own gear, experiment with materials and props, and, for those joining the evening macro walk, have the chance to build their own diffuser during the session.

Please note that this workshop is limited to 30 participants.
