We are delighted to be able to share with you a special invitation to Te Puia – 2025 winner of the Air New Zealand Supreme Tourism Award.

Te Puia sits within the historic Te Whakarewarewa Geothermal Valley, on the edge of Rotorua. It is home to the famous Pōhutu geyser, mud pools, hot pools and silica formations.

Pōhutu geyser is New Zealand's largest geothermal geyser, and is truly spectacular when lit up at night. Te Puia have chosen to close this very popular venue to the public for the night of our visit, making this an exclusive and very generous invitation. We will therefore have exclusive access to photograph, at our leisure, in an incredibly special location. Te Puia will also be running a photographic contest for us, with the winning image displayed on their website.

For those keen to join in on this unique experience, we will take a short bus ride from The Novotel at 8.30pm on Friday May 8.

Once there, we’ll enjoy a hot chocolate while being treated to a light show amongst the swirling steam from the naturally geothermal environment, along with many other delights to photograph and enjoy.

Words cannot do justice to this venue, so we urge you to look at the Te Puia website to get an idea of just how much of a special treat this is. https://www.tepuia.com

Te Puia have extended this invitation to all convention participants and as mentioned, will close the venue to the public for this very exclusive and special night. While entry will be free of charge, the cost of the return bus trip is $10.00.
