A Pathway to Honours

Speaker: Paul Byrne FPSNZ, ARPS, AFAIP

[Please note, that non-PSNZ members are also invited to make application for consideration of the award of the Licentiate honour.]

This workshop is designed to assist potential applicants to comprehend the Awards system, together with the specific requirements of Honour sought. Paul will speak candidly and provide answers to questions from the group. He will discuss presentation skills and portfolio arrangements. He will elaborate on ‘Statements of Intent’ with respect to Fellowship applications. He will also outline a method of approach to the task, as well as providing some of the pitfalls to be avoided. Hints and tips will undoubtedly be discussed.

Paul’s information will be drawn from his previous experience as an honours applicant, as well as knowledge gained during his tenure on both the Honours Board and Judge Accreditation Panel.

If you are considering applying for one of the PSNZ Honours in 2027 and beyond, Paul’s workshop should definitely be on your shortlist at the 2026 convention in Rotorua.
