During this challenge you will head into Nelson and look for opportunities to create street photographs. The idea is to look for areas of high contrast. Shadow and light. Check out Sean Tuckers Street Photography work for inspiration: www.seantucker.photography/street.

This challenge is designed as a bit of fun to get you out and about and into a photography state of mind. It is entirely up to you how you approach this Challenge: you can either head out alone or with friends you haven’t seen for a while. Wander Nelson city and hunt out the shadows or make yourself comfortable at one of the many cafes, take time to observe and tune in over a nice cup of coffee, watch the light change and wait for just the right moment to press the shutter.

We have added the opportunity for you to can pick your best image from the afternoon (editing allowed) and bring it to the registration desk by 9am on Saturday 3^rd May. Your image will be loaded into a folder on the laptop (all images submitted must have been taken on the afternoon/evening of Thursday 1^st May).

All the images that are submitted will be evaluated by Sean Tucker and Tim Booth, the top image will be announced and receive a wee prize at closing on Sunday 4^th May.
