Andy Spain
Come and spend 90 minutes in the company of award winning architectural photographer Andy Spain. He will help you with all aspects of getting the best images from the urban environment and interiors, offering tips and advice to produce your own high quality images of architecture.
Andy moved from the UK in 2015 and has worked as a freelance photographer since the early 2000s after completing his Masters in Photography at the London College of Printing. He was awarded the New Zealand Institute of Architects Award in 2022 and regularly works on his own personal projects when not out shooting for clients.
Andy is holding a session on Architecture photography where he will give a 30 minute introduction on equipment, settings and techniques. Andy will lead a walk around the Lower Hutt CBD for you to put into practice what knowledge he has passed on. Bring a mixture of lens preferable with a widish angle and a tripod though this may not be necessary.
